Pomocy z sentencją Sokratesa

Witam,

prosze Was o pomoc. Tłumaczenie w pracy stanęło mi bo dotarłam do sentencji Sokratesa, której nie jestem w stanie prztłumaczyć inaczej niż dosłownie, a zdaję sobie sprawę że byłoby to błędem . Brzmi ona w w języku angielskim "Let him that would move the world,first move himself" lub po niemiecku " Wer die Welt bewegen will, sollte erst sich selbst bewegen". czy ktoś mógłby mi podać jak orginalnie w języku polskim brzmi prawidłowo ta myśl Seneki.
